 Itinerary

Day 1: Hometown Canada - Beijing

Being your adventure from your hometown - Canada to Beijing.

 

Day 2: Beijing

You'll be met by your Beijing guide upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. 
Hotel: 5* Oriental Bay or similar

 

Day 3: Beijing

This morning you'll take a stroll around Tian'anmen Square - The gateway to the Imperial Palace surrounding with mounments and government edifices. The Imperial Palace - the  "Forbidden City" - the sequestered world of China's last emperor. After lunch your tour coach will then take you off to the Summer Palace where you will get a good view on a boat ride of Kunming Lake. This evening you will feast on a  Peking Duck Dinner. (B/L/SD)

 

Day 4: Beijing

Head to the northwest of Beijing The Great Wall.  After lunch, visit one of the thirteen Ming Tombs laid out in a valley north of Beijing. This evening you will enjoy a brilliant Martial Arts Kung Fu spectacular. (B/L/D)

 

Day 5: Beijing / Xi'an

Morning flight to Xi'an - the ancient capital of eleven dynasties. After lunch, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi Provincial Museum. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Xi'an

Tour one of the most amazing archaeological finds of the 20th Century - The Terra Cotta Warriors, the burial grounds of Emperor Qingshi Huangdi with its thousands of life-sized warriors and horses assembled to guard his afterlife. After lunch, visit the Ancient City Wall. Tonight, you will be treated to a traditional Xi'an special Dumpling Banquet followed by a very colourful Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/SD)

 

Day 7: Xi'an / Kunming

Morning flight to Kunming. A local guide will meet you on arraival and start your tour in Kunming. A lofty ancient pedestal known as Dragon Gate near the summit of West Hill will provide you with a panoramic view of Kunming City and Dianchi Lake. After briefly viewing Golden Horse Archway (Jinma & Biji Square), you'll visit East & West Temple Pagodas - built in the 800's (Tang Dynasty). After dinner, transfer to hotel for check-in.  (B/L/D)

Day 8: Kunming / Stone Forest

Wander through the immense karst maze of soaring rock formations at Yunnan's number one attraction - The Stone Forest. After lunch, return to Kunming for a local cuisine dinner. (B/L/SD)
 

Day 9: Kunming/ Dali

After breakfast, you'll fly to Dali. Visit the Three Towering Pagodas of Chongshen Monastery built in 836AD. Enjoy the Bai Minority People tie dying cloth with wax. Visit a beautiful Bai Minority Fishing Village with its tranditional style courtyards at Xizhou Town. Cruise on the beautiful Erhai Lake by a small fishing boat will let you enjoy the overwhelming scenery.  (B/L/D)

Day 10: Dali / Lijiang

Today you will travel by coach to Lijiang and pass through many enchanting minority villages on the way. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the old town of Lijiang. Enjoying a leisurely walk in the old town. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Lijiang

This morning you'll visit a Naxi Village to view the Baisha (White sand) Murals depicting Tibetan, Naxi, and Han cultures. When you've done that, have a look at the 600-year-old Ten Thousand Blossoms Camellia Tree at Yufeng Lama Temple. You'll then take a trip to Yuhu Village - from here you will have a fantastic view of Jade Dragon mountain. We then visit the Black Dragon Pool.  (B/L/D)

 

Day 12: Lijing / Shenzhen

Morning flight to Shenzhen. You will be greeted by the local tour guide, then visit the China Folklore Village and enjoy the minority show at night. (B/L/D)

Hotel: 5* Nahai Hotel or similar 

 

Day 13: Shenzhen / Hong Kong

After breakfast, you will then be escorted to Hong Kong. Transfer to hotel and the rest of day is free at leisure. (B)

Hotel: 4* Regal Oriental Hotel or similar

 

Day 14: Hong Kong

A half-day guided tour has been arranged to take you to Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen Fishing Village and Hong Kong's financial district. Afternoon free for you to explore this busy metropolis on your own. (B)

 

Day 15: Hong Kong

Today is yours to do whatever you want. If you need some hints check out HK's tourism website: http://www.discoverhongkong.com/canada/ You can also take optional tours either for Lantau Island tour or One day tour for Macau. (B)

 

Day 16: Hong Kong / Hometown

Transfer to the airport to board your flight for hometown. (B)
