Itinerary

Day 1: Hometown ~ Osaka (Kansai)

Depart from home city to Osaka, the 2nd largest city in Japan. 

Day 2: Arrive Osaka

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner at hotel tonight. (D)
Hotel: ANA Gate Tower or similar

Day 3: Kyoto ~ Nara ~ Todai Temple ~ Deep Park ~ Uji ~ Stone Beidge ~ Byodoin Temple ~ Kyoto ~ Gion

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Nara city and visit Todaji, a major historical temple and national treasures in Japan. Followed by a visit to the Nara Deer Park, where deer gaze and gambol in the grassy serenity of this park. Continue to Uji and visit the famous Uji Bridge & Byodoin Temple. Later, arrive Kyoto with a evening tour at Gion. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Kyoto ~ Sanjusangendo Temple ~ Golden Temple ~ Arashiyama ~ Sagano ~ Togetsukyo Bridge ~ Sagano Romantic Train ~ Bamboo Walking Path ~ Kiyomizu Shrine ~ Heian Jingu Shrine

After breakfast at hotel, we first visit the famous Sanjusangendo Temple and the Golden Temple. Lunch with Tofu Ryori. Then visit the scenic Arashiyama and enjoy a spectacular view at the Togetsuko Bridge, followed by a Sagano Romantic Train ride. Through the Bamboo Walking Path onto the Kiyomizu Shrine & Heian Jingu Shrine. Dinner at hotel. Tonight, you will enjoy all the hot spring faciilities in the hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Kobe ~ Awaji Shima island ~ Yumebutai ~ Akashi Kaikyo Bridge ~ Chinatown ~ Osaka ~ Osaka Castle ~ Shinjaibashi ~ Shopping Arcade ~ Dotombori

After breakfast at hotel, drive through the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge onto the Yumebutai in Awaji Shima Island. Lunch with Awaji Beef Ryori. Then visit the famous Chinatown in Kobe followed by a visit to Osaka Castle, built in the 15th Century under the order of General Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Then visit to Shinjaibashi shopping arcade with free time shopping or a taste of local food at Dotombori. Enjoy a Shabu Shabu Beef hotpot dinner tonight. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Osaka ~ Wakayama ~ Shirahama ~ Senjojiki ~ Sandanpeki ~ Suehiros ~ Tore Tore Seafood Market ~ Kansai Premium Outlet

After breakfast at hotel, drive to coastal Shirahama in Wakayama prefecture. Head to Senjojiki to see the coast line eroded by the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Then we will go to the 50 meters high cliff of Sandanbeki. Then take the elevator to the bottom of the cliff where we see the stunning waves crashing against the coastline. Continue to visit Suehiros and the famous Tore Tore Seafood Market. Lunch with Seafood Ryori and dinner is served in Japanese BBQ style buffet. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Osaka (Kansai) ~ Hometown

After breakfast at the hotel, take hotel shuttle bus to the airport for your homeward flight. (B)
