Itinerary

Day 1: Hometown ~ Tokyo (Narita)

Depart from home city to Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. 

Day 2: Arrive Tokyo

Arrive at Narita International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and be transferred to the hotel. Free for the rest of the day. Dinner of the hotel. (D)

Day 3: Naritasan Shinshoji Temple ~ Odaiba ~ Rainbow Bridge ~ Mega Web ~ Ginza Shopping District ~ Shinjuku ~ Kabukicho District

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the biggest temple of Narita - the Naritasan Shinshoji. Then pass through the Rainbow Bridge into Odaiba and visit the Mega Web. Visit the most prestigious shopping area in Japan, the Ginza. Continue to the sub-city of Tokyo - Shinjuku, and visit the Shinjuku Kabukicho District to further explore the nightlife of the city. Lunch at a local restaurant & Shabu-Shabu style dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Hakone National Park ~ Hakone Shrine ~ Owakudani ~ Lake Ashi (Lake Cruise) ~ Lake Hamana Onsen

After breakfast at the hotel, take a scenic drive to Hakone and visit Hakone Shrine, the famous red Torii rising from the lake side. Continue to the famous Owakudani the site of a constantly bubbling and steaming valley. Then visit Lake Ashi, a principal attraction of Hakone. Here we board an ornate pirate ship and see spectacular views of the lake. Continue to drive through the saltwater Lake Hamana. Lunch at a local restaurant & dinner in Japanese style at the hotel. Tonight, you will enjoy all the hot spring facilities in the hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Wakayama ~ Kumano-koda ~ Nachi Falls ~ Kumano Grand Shrine ~ Hashikui-iwa Rock ~ Kushimoto / Katsuura

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a ride to Wakayama - the south side of Osaka. Then, we will go to Kumano Ancient Morality and Onigajo Rock. Afterwards, we will go to Nachi Waterfall by walking through the peaceful trail of cedar trees. At the end of the trail, you will find 133 meters high waterfall, which looks like a piece of white silk hanging on the valley. Then we will go to Hashiguiiwa, a progression of 40 different sea rocks lining up in the sea with 850 meters long of tremendous natural view. Lunch at a local restaurant & dinner at the hotel. After dinner, enjoy a hot spring bath at the hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Kushimoto Marine Park ~ Aquarium ~ Shirahama ~ Sandanpeki ~ Tore Tore Seafood Market ~ Osaka ~ Dotombori

After breakfast at the hote, we will go to Kushimoto marine Park. Visit the turtle center and have a look at the beautiful sea creatures and corals. Then we will go to 50 meters high cliff of Sandanbeki. Then take the elevator to the bottom of the cliff to see the stunning waves crashing against the coastline. Head to Senjojiki to see the coast line eroded by the waves of the Pacific Ocean. The erosion casued by the waves makes this land platform look like thousands of Tatami (Japan straw mats) placed together. Then, head to Osaka at dusk and have some free time at Dotonbori. Lunch in Japanese style & dinner at a local restaurant. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Osaka Castle ~ Shinsaibashi ~ Bullet Train (Osaka to Kyoto) ~ Kyoto ~ Kiyomizudera Shrine ~ Heian Jingu Shrine ~ Kansai

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Osaka Castle, the castle built in the 15th century under the order of General Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Continue to Shinsaibashi shopping arcade. Free time for shopping before taking a ride on the Bullet Train to Kyoto, the second capital of Japan. Visit Kiyomizudera & Heian Jingu SHrine, then followed by visiting Kansai. Lunch with Tofu Ryori & dinner is served in Japanese BBQ style buffet. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Osaka (Kansai) ~ Hometown

After breakfast at the hotel, take hotel shuttle bus to the airport for your homeward flight. (B)
