Tour Itinerary 

 

Day 1: Arrive Beijing 
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Hotel: Oriental Bay Hotel or similar

Day 2: Beijing 
In the morning we tour the Forbidden City; a huge complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. Walk through Tiananmen Square, the site of many history making events. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace, located in a park full of charming pavilions and scenic views. This evening watch the famous Beijing acrobatic show. (B/L/D)

Day 3: Beijing
Today we visit the Great Wall; this man-made structure winds like a dragon across Northern China. After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs, and drive by the Olympic Village. Tonight you will have the famous Beijing Duck dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Beijing - Xian 
Fly to Xian in the morning. Visit the Ancient City Wall, and the Shaanxi History Museum, which boasts more than 370,000 rare cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi. (B/L/D)

Hotel: Jianguo Hotel or similar 

Day 5: Xian  
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, one of the world's great archeological treasures. After lunch, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight, you will be served a dumpling banquet and watch the Dances & Music of the Tang Dynasty. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Xian - Guilin  
Fly to Guilin, a city famous for its picturesque landscape. This area has inspired Chinese artists and poets for centuries. Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, and Reed Flute Cave. After dinner, watch the Guilin Folk Dance and Music Show. (B/L/D)

Hotel: Park Hotel or similar 

Day 7: Guilin - Shenzhen  
Take a spectacular cruise down the meandering Li River. The scenery is breathtaking, as jagged, mist-covered mountains loom before you, and quaint villages dot the riverbanks. Take the night flight from Guilin to Shenzhen. Transfer to hotel. (B/L/D)

Hotel: Nanhai Hotel or similar

Day 8: Shenzhen - Hong Kong airport - Hometown   
Transfer to Hong Kong airport for your onward flight or you can choose to stay in Hong Kong. (B)
