Processing Chinese Visa for Canadian leisure and business travellers!

Out of security concerns, all Chinese Consulates across Canada have stopped accepting visa applications by direct mail, making it extremely inconvenient for visa applicants nationwide. Even for those who live within driving distance to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate, the two trips (drop-off and pick-up) to the consulate can be very time-consuming, intimidating, and frustrating. Driving in traffic, waiting in a long line for submitting the application and returning back to pick up the visa a few days later can easily take two half days off your already busy schedule. It is absolutely not cost-effective and worthwhile to go to the Chinese consulate to get the visa in person. By using Access China Tours' VISA SERVICE for a small service fee, all the hassles and frustrations can be eliminated. Our staff go to the Chinese Consulate in Ottawa everyday, and all the applications we process are treated with utmost responsibility and urgency.

The following documents should be submitted when applying for China visa:

1. Original Passport must have at least 6 months of remaining validity with enough blank visa pages

2. One properly completed Visa Application Form signed by the actual applicant

3. A recent 2 x 2 inches passport-size photo, color with white background, showing a full front view of the applicant's head and shoulders without head covering. 

Processing Times and Fees:
Although processing times are subject to change, applications will normally be processed within 4 working days. A regular service is available at a premium of CAD20. Costs vary based upon the type of application being submitted and the nationality of the applicant however, costs generally range from around CAD50 for a single entry visitor visa.

Self-addressed stamped envelope:

For security concern, trackable mail will be highly recommended (FedEx, UPS, DHL or Express mail, certified mail and priority mail from Post Office).  If you choose to use regular mail to send passport(s), we are not responsible for lost mail and lost passport(s).
